He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph L. Cable and Dorothy E. Cable (Keller); his spouse Floretta E. Oyler; his parents-in-law, Charles and Maudie Oyler (Filbrun); and his great grandchild Lemuel Cable.

He is survived by : his children, Merideth Cable (Rhonda) of Nappanee, IN., Martha, Ronald (Faythe) and Larry (Liana); and his sisters, Linda Lou Koble (Ronald) and Diana Cable-Whitworth (Michael). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
