He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Slabaugh and Alda Slabaugh (Farmwald); his sons, Daniel Slabaugh and Gary Slabaugh; his sister Betty Hochstetler; and his nephew Matthew Slabaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Slabaugh of Nappanee; his daughters, Judy Yoder (Dewayne) of New Paris, IN, Cindy Troyer (Joseph) of Nappanee and Doris Eash (Marlin) of Shipshewana, IN; his brothers, Allen Slabaugh (Ellen) of Milford, IN and Lyle Slabaugh (Barb) of Milford, IN; and his brother-in-law Leroy Hochstetler of Milford. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren.
