He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Riley and Helen Riley (Nickerson); his daughter Kellie O'Rourke; his grandson Sean O'Rourke; his brothers, Bill and David Riley; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Rosemary Riley.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Riley of Nappanee; his children, Kim Allen (Jim) of Indianapolis, IN and Kevin Riley of Fishers, IN; his son-in-law Tim O'Rourke of Connersville, IN; his grandchildren, Sydney Allen, Riley Allen, Madison DeShurko (Mitchell), Kyle O'Rourke (Kourtney), Emily Hinkle (Landen), Brooks Riley, Brady Riley and Jenna Riley; his granddaughter-in-law Keli Denbo (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Sean II, Kenzie (Malachi), Zander and Kingslee; and his great great grandchild Waylon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
