Barbara Tuxhorn Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Tuxhorn of Nashville, Indiana, who passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Fayette "Earl" Ramsey; her husband Ken Edward Tuxhorn; her daughter Jenny Tuxhorn-Thomas; her mother Jeanne Johnson (Pollack); her stepparents, Lillian Ramsey and Arthur "Art" Johnson; and her stepbrother Tim Wright.

She is survived by: her son Bruce Tuxhorn (Mary) of Belmont; her grandchildren, Matthew Tuxhorn of Fishers, Jennifer Hiday (Steve) of Fishers and Garrett Tuxhorn (Jordan) of Greenfield; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Gavin Hiday, Georgia and Myles Tuxhorn; and her half-sister Fay Mauro (Bob) of Easton, Maryland..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center (179 E Mulberry St, Morgantown, IN 46160). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
