It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Joan Dewar of Nashville, Indiana, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Thickstun and Virginia Thickstun; her husband Donald Dewar; and her sisters, Alice Stines (Art) and Peg Robertson (Gary).

She is survived by: her children, Andrew Dewar (Andrea) and Aimee Dewar (Keith); and her brother Leon Thickstun (Karen). She is also survived by three grandchildren.
