She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Lewis and Lois Elizabeth Alvey (Higdon); her husband Merrill Nelson Long; her grandson Mike Long; and her siblings, Kenneth, Donald, Junior, Mormrose and Richard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barb Thrasher, Bev Zimmer (Mike Case) and Becky Ross (Charlie); her grandchildren, Brian, Geoff, Nicole, Jason, Mianna and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Amber, Cole, Liam, Kylee, Draven, Winnie, Quinten and Eli; and her sisters, Geraline Merrick and Maralyn Pierce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
