He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boutin and Mabel Boutin (Cadrain); his stepson Matthew Michael Kiesler; and his brothers, David Peter (Diane) and Robin Louis Boutin (Pattie).

He is survived by: his wife Terri Boutin (Hisle); his son Louis Allan Boutin (Elke) of Corydon, Indiana; his stepson Adam Scott Kiesler (Allyson) of New Albany; his grandchildren, Chelsey Boutin, Collin Boutin (Lauren), Madyson Moore (Gerrin), Avarey Kiesler, Wilder Lorch and Wyatt Kiesler; his great grandchildren, Penelope, Bentley and Michael; his close friend Bobby Cooper; his cherisheds, English Springer and Millie Lite; Kelly, Matthew Lorch and Thomas Earl (Arlene). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
