He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Yeker and John Yeker Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Yeker (Hendricks); his children, Shannon Kopf (Stefan) and Jason Yeker (Amy); his grandchildren, Zachary, Ivy, Ava, Colton, Elliott, Brooklynn and Carson; and his siblings, John Yeker, III (Cathy), Janet Lovan (Tony) and Rebecca Eiler (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor his memory by watching a baseball game, and spending time with your family. Monetary donations can be made to New Albany Little League or the American Cancer Society.
