He was predeceased by: his daughter Stephanie Lynn Duncan; and his father Carl Eugene Duncan, Sr. (Carl). He is survived by: his wife Amy Duncan; his son Carl Duncan III; his mother Faye Duncan (Holcomb); and his siblings, Phyllis Duncan and Walter Duncan (Tandy).

The family requests that contributions in Carl's memory be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or WHAS Crusade for Children (520 West Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202).
