He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Turnage and Lillie Mae Turnage; and his wife Hildegard Turnage. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel R. Turnage (Deina), David W. Turnage (Marguerite) and Douglas E. Turnage (Christine). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
