We are sad to announce that, on December 29, 2025, at the age of 76, Carolyn Sue Smith (New Albany, Indiana), born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hilbert and Mamie Tingle Hilbert; and her sister Thelma Reid. She is survived by: her husband Terry Smith; her grandchildren, Blake Bohnert (Chelsey), Chris Bohnert (Abby), Casey Bohnert and Shelby Leech (Tyler); and her sisters, Ann Zimmerman and Doris Brown (Kevin).
