He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hegewald and Lu Hegewald (Black); his brother Arthur Hegewald III; and his close friend Angela Hegewald. He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Briscoe and Laura Sims; his granddaughter Madyson Briscoe; his sisters, Karon Williams (Eric) and Jenny Hegewald; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Hegewald, Renee Bott and Craig Condra. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
