He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Marking and Antoinette A. Marking (Schoenbaechler); his wives, Loretta Ann Marking (Schueler) and Theresa Payne Marking (Patty Jenks); and his siblings, Anthony Marking, Bernadette Fife and Bertha Zabel.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Marking (Cathy), Wayne Marking (Virginia) and Lisa Owen (Neil); his grandchildren, Emily McCaffery (Sean), Sam Marking (Emma), Andrew Marking (Allie), Carrie LeClair (Steve), Alexandra Marking, Carlynn Rhodes, Grace Jones (Noah), Bekah Owen, Will Owen (Marli) and Nelson Owen; his siblings, Alberta Wagner, Mary Didat, Arthur Marking (Rita), Joseph Marking, Rita Schueler, Ruth Houghton and Kathleen Stewart; and his brother-in-law Darrell Zabel. He is also survived by 8 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for expressions of sympathy to be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or St. Vincent De Paul Society at Holy Family Catholic Church.
