Darlene leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Darlene’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Hacht and Luella Hacht; and her brother Arnold Hacht Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Rachel Ann Doty and Daniel Elden Doty Sr. (Stephanie); her grandsons, Daniel Doty Jr. and Levi Doty (Victoria); and her great grandchild Roman Doty.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery (2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
