He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gagnon and Jessie Hanford Gagnon; his wife Janet Kochert Gagnon; and his brother Robert Gagnon. He is survived by: his children, Ann-Marie Shaffer (Stephen), Dennis Gagnon Jr. (Renae) and Denise Howes (Ron); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Gurr (Logan), Whitney Villanova (Jesse), Lucas Gagnon, Zachary Kelton, Natalie-Grace Gagnon, Taylor-Ann Kelton, Mallory Kelton, Liem Gagnon, Emarie Gagnon and Ryan Howes; his great grandchildren, Iyla Gurr and Ivy Villanova; his sister Carol Passanisi (Joe); his sibling's children, Tim Cox and Belinda Gagnon; his girlfriend Donna Gossett; and his pet Figgy.
