She is survived by: her son Melvin Blair (Shirley); her grandson Matthew Blair; her nephews, Roger Shaffer (Norleen) and Ronnie Shaffer (Jane); and her siblings, Virgil Shaffer, Marilyn White (John) and Carolyn Miller (Dale).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at the Bethesda Cemetery.
