She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Thornton; her husband Earnest Eiler; her son Jamie T. Eiler; her mother Bertha Ramsey Rissler (Ramsey); her stepfather Herbert Rissler; her brother James Thornton; and her stepsisters, Marilyn Rissler Peel and Dolores Rissler Ellenberger.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Eiler (Lyntha) and Joey Eiler (Deb); her grandchildren, Andrew, Christina, Elizabeth, Scott, Alex and Madeline; and her great grandchildren, Stone, Rosemary, Imogen, Alex, Lucian, Mercy, Lochlan and Fiona.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ann's honor to the James T. Eiler Scholarship at New Albany High School, which goes to supporting students in the arts. Keep Elizabeth "Ann" Thornton Eiler's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
