With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gale James Stephens of New Albany, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha Vance; his wife Evelyn Stephens; his close friends, Sharon Wortham and Joyce Becker; his parents, Joseph Stephens and Jewell Stephens; his siblings, Dorothy Bowman (George), Betty Newby (Harold), Raymond Stephens and Luke Stephens (Louise); his daughter Reva Brading (Steve); his stepchildren, Susan Howerton and John Burns; his son Gale "Bubby" Stephens; and his grandson Kyle Stucky.
He is survived by: his daughter Jacinta Stucky (Mike); and his stepdaughters, Debi Moran and Donna Davis (Jack). He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, and forty-five great-grandchildren.
