We announce the death of Gerald Bline in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bline and Alice Bline; and his siblings, Joseph Bline, John Bline, Sr., Jim Bline, Paul Bline, Sr., Jack Bline, Jessie Wilson, Charlotte Rutkowski and June Boley.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Bline (Leslie) and John M. Roberts; his grandchildren, Eric Bline (Riki), Michael Bline and Thomas Bline; and his caregivers, Paula Cruze, Clifton Swift and Donna Swift. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1415 Msh N Ln, Madison, IN 47250).
