He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Duguid and Joyce Duguid (Forrester); and his sister Sharon. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his brothers, Gordon and James; and his pets, Macoose and Foster. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter, where Ian and Joy found their faithful companions and gave them a second chance at love.
