He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne Hammel; his children, Dennis Hammel (Tina) and Julia Hammel-Furlong (David); his grandchildren, Tyler Hammel, Jordan Hammel, Morgan McCutcheon (Dennis), Madison Hammel and Elizabeth Furlong; and his great grandchildren, Kase Hudson McCutcheon and Kole Walker McCutcheon.
