He was predeceased by: his daughter Terre Lee Wilson; his parents, Alvin L. Wilson and Henrietta Wilson; and his siblings, Ann Long, Alvin Wilson and Dorothy Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his daughters, Marsha Sneed (Darren) and Maggie Walker (Brad); his grandchildren, Shelby (Tyler), Garrett, Molly, Sydney, Bailey (Megan) and Ruby; and his siblings, Elmer "Sonny" Wilson (Dianne), Linda Leffler (Bill), Janet Plantz and Mary Etta Brothers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St Marys Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119). A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at the St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery (3033 Martin Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
The family requests that contributions in Jerry's memory be made to St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic School Fund.
