He is survived by: his wife Janice Sims; his children, Tammy Stewart, Angela Morgan (Mark), Joseph Sims Jr. (Joe) and Amanda Sims; and his stepchildren, Teresa Pangburn and Randy Bowser (Angie). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
