With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy L. (Mathes) Schulz of New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Vernon; her parents-in-law, Melvin and Irma Schulz; and her brothers-in-law, James Robert Hansford and Ronald Cates.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen L. Schulz of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Jackson and Alyssa Bingham of Indianapolis, IN; her siblings, Jon Mathes (Betty) of New Albany, IN and Carol Sue Hansford of New Albany, IN; and her sister-in-law Beverly Sue Cates of Georgetown, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
