She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis A. Milton and Anna Embry Townsend; her husband Morton L. Edlin; and her siblings, Charlotte Bray, Loretta Skaggs, Jean Heaverin, Mary Sue Smith, Purdy of Nevada, John Lee LeGrand and Royce Milton.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Hopper (Steve) and Donald Davis; her grandchildren, Isaac Hopper (Kaityln), Kaleb Hopper (Michaela), Kaelin Hopper and Dominic Davis; and her sister Mae Lou Swisher. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's memory to the American Cancer Society.
