It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Underwood of New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Kenneth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kenneth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Daig and Madge Tallman Underwood; and his wife Evelyn Yochum Brengman Underwood. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joe Brengman (Judy) of Mountain Home, ID, David Brengman (Claudia) of Lanesville, IN, Michael Brengman (Jacie) of Lanesville, IN, Lisa Thomas (Lee) of Corydon, IN, Donna Blank (Rob) of Lanesville, IN and Annette Jackson (Robbie) of Charlestown, IN; and his cousins, Judith Mercer of Senecaville, OH and Robert Underwood of Gillette, WY. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one on the way and 1 great great grandchild.
