Leonard C. Meyers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 96, Leonard C. Meyers (New Albany, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Leonard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Meyers and Coakra Meyers; and his wife Elsie M. Meyers. He is survived by: his sons, David D. Meyers and Phillip L. Meyers (Mary Ann); his grandson Harrison Meyers (Megan); and his sisters, Helen Ruth Schultz and Phyllis Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kraft Funeral Home (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of Flowers donations in Leonard's memory can be made to American Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
