With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margarette D. Muchow (New Albany, Indiana), born in Fulton, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2026 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. DaVania and Amelia DaVania; her husband Larry D. Muchow; and her sister Suzanne DaVania Hooper. She is survived by: her brother John E. DaVania (Beverly); her brother-in-law Roger Hooper; her nephew John D. DaVania (Melissa); her great-niece Sophia; her nieces and nephews, Matt Hooper (Mindy), Mike Landers (Teddy), Michele Jeffery and Lesley Hooper; her nieces, Anita Murnin (Bert), Becky Peckham (Doug), Dee Leonard (Ken), Liz Nehren, Sherry Langley, Delvine Nehren and Lisa Nehren; Ashley.
In lieu of flowers, it was Margarette's wishes to have memorial contributions made to Edwardsville United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
