With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin Lloyd Brown (New Albany, Indiana), born in Corydon, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brown and Clara Brown; his wife Virginia Brown; his son Edward Brown; and his siblings, Gerald Brown, Paul Brown, Aileen Litch, Cleo Litch, LaVern Cline, Earl Brown and Bonnie Brown.
He is survived by: his son Randy P. Brown; and his sister Shirley Heishman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (708 E Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
