He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Jack and Martha May Shirley (Osterholt); his wife Linda Shirley; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Summers and Michael Thompson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Shirley, Donna Shirley Sills (Rick), Karen Summers, Kim Fitzgerald (Brian), Angela Thompson and Barbara Reynolds (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1119 E Market St, New Albany, IN 47150). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (420 E 8th St, New Albany, IN 47150). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery (3033 Martin Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
