He is survived by: his wife Becky McCarty; his son Keith McCarty (Kelly); his grandson Kyle McCarty; and his brothers, Kent McCarty (Sandy Girvin), Chris McCarty (Charlotte) and Mark McCarty (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
