He was predeceased by: his parents, Arietta Smith (Vance) and Randpa; and his brother Barry. He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith (Teeters); his children, Melody Seals (Thomas), Bryan Smith (Meg) and Vance Smith (Missy); his grandchildren, Clayton, Caleb Seals, Cooper, Keaton, Jack, Grayson Smith, Morgan and Gabriel Heeke; and his siblings, Joel Smith (Susan) and Bridget Hill.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Howard Park Christian Church.
