It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Tinius of New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Leighann Rutherford; and his parents, Frederick "Fritz" Tinius and Rose Tinius (Aemmer). He is survived by: his wife Violet Wilson; his children, Todd Tinius (Kristine) and Jennifer Watts (Kerry); his siblings, Fred Tinius and Rose Miller; and his grandchildren, Brent, Joshua, Sarah, Alec, Lauren, Lily, Michael, Steven, Mia and Marsha.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Richard's name to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
