We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2023, at the age of 94, Robert O. Smith (New Albany, Indiana), born in Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Mary Charlotte Smith; his wife Voncille "Voncy" Smith; his siblings, Jean Elder, Charles "Pit" Smith and George "Beater" Smith; and his sons-in-law, Mark Douglas and Mike Naville.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Smith, Sandy Naville, Sally Jeffries (Ron) and Mary Charlotte Berger (Todd); his sister Bonnie Hardin (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Folz (Jason), Maggie Cirillo (Tom), Amy Bomar (Blake), Mark K. Douglas II (Jennifer), Jason Jeffries, Abby Bennett (William), Jack Berger and Grace Berger. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Southern Care Hospice: 3602 Northgate Court: #27: New Albany, IN. 47150.
