She was predeceased by: her parents, Osco Summers and Eulah Summers; her husband Charles L. Utz; her children, Garry L. Utz and Robin K. Utz; and her grandson Mickey L. Utz.
She is survived by: her daughter Ginger Herron (Darrel); and her grandchildren, Penny Utz, David Proctor (Dawn), Michael Utz, Garry Robertson, Cody Herron (Lindsey), Chase Herron (Cait) and Ali Rogers (Andrew). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations made in Ruth's name may be forwarded to the Floyd County Animal Shelter.
