She was predeceased by: her parents, Fayn Vest and Lois Vest; and her sisters, Vickie and Linda. She is survived by: her husband Jay Chaffin; her son Jason Chaffin (Adrienne); her granddaughter Olivia Chaffin; and her siblings, Eva Vest and Sandy Prince. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kraft Funeral Service & Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
