He was predeceased by: his father John A. Ashton. He is survived by: his wife Diane Ashton; his children, John "Ethan" Ashton and Lyndsay Carr; his grandchild Jude Garner; his pets, Ellie and Riley; his mother Janis Ashton; his sister Jennifer Horan (Cam); his nephew Connor Horan; and his niece Genevieve Horan. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
The family requests that contributions in Tye's memory be made to United Way or Floyd County Humane Society.
