Voncille Smith Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Voncille Smith (New Albany, Indiana), who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louella McGovern and W. B. McGovern; her sisters, Freda Zoeller and Maxine Lorch; and her sons-in-law, Mark Douglas and Mike Naville.

She is survived by: her husband Robert O. Smith; her children, Stephen Smith, Sandy Naville, Sally Jeffries (Ron) and Mary Charlotte Berger (Todd); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Folz (Jason), Maggie Cirillo (Tom), Amy Bomar (Blake), Mark K. Douglas II (Jennifer), Jason Jeffries, Abby Bennett (William), Jack and Grace Berger. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid Pandemic, all of the arrangements for Voncy will be private and they have been entrusted to the Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or the Mark K. Douglas Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund.
