With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Carpenter (New Albany, Indiana), born in Vienna, West Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Carpenter and Mary Carpenter (McGaughy); his sons, Doug and Christopher Carpenter; and his brother Charles Carpenter.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Carpenter (Shannon); his children, Timothy (Trudy), Matthew Carpenter, Lisa Crosby (Clint) and Nancy Ann Dean (Mark); his stepdaughters, Julie Pratz and Tenille Fox (Isaac); and his sister Joan Meyer (George). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
