William Davis Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of William Davis of New Albany, Indiana. William, born on November 17, 1946, passed away on August 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Davis Sr. and Alleine Davis (Rissler); his siblings, Joyce Franklin, Ann Wright, Linda Sorrels, Edward Davis Jr. and Larry Davis; and his son-in-law Jeremy Overton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeannie Davis, Tina Davis (Michelle) and Sheryl Davis; his grandsons, Bradly Davis (Annie McNeil) and Trenton Davis; his stepgrandchildren, Tosha Smith, Avery Warner and Ian Overton; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Albra and Ayden Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1119 E Market St, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Sci-Graceland Memorial Park (2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
