He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Carter, Sr.; and his brother Ray Carter, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Alice Carter (Stewart); his siblings, Connie Whitson and Dan Carter (Lilly); his nephews, Gary Whitson (Alyson) and Jesse Carter (Angela); his great-nephew Cooper; his great-niece Charlee; and his pet Cheyanne.
