He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon A. Tandy; his grandson Michael Whitis; his parents, Harold M. Tandy and Marjorie Duncan Tandy; and his brother Richard Tandy.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Whitis (Mike); his grandchildren, Nathan Whitis (Kristin), Cara Whitis (Erick) and Jenna Lamb (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Addy Adams, Will Kruer, Christian Adams, Aubree Whitis and Wyatt Whitis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1119 E Market St, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
