Though Willie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Willie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Ashby and Willie Ben Pearson; and his wife Pearl Marie Pearson. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Charbonneau (Pete) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Carol Maples (Tony) of Corydon, Indiana, Cynthia Bashaw (Jeff) of Louisville, Kentucky and Ben Pearson (Carrie) of Greenville, Indiana; and his sisters, Donna Smith (Ronald) of Clifford and Sue Carpenter (Carl) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
