She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Bate and Ella Bate (Garoutte); her husband Bob; and her son-in-law Mitch McDonald. She is survived by : her children, John Romig, Roger Romig, Lesa McDonald and Sue Anastos (David); her grandchildren, Ryan Romig (Andrea), Rachel Mezzei (Mike), Ben, Tim McDonald, Dalton and Dakota Anastos; her great grandchild Brayden Mezzei; and her brother Charles Bradley Bate of Hanford, CA.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post #297 (486 E Michigan St, New Carlisle, IN 46552).
