She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Austin and Myrtle Austin (Black); her former husbands, Jack Carroll and Dr. Donald Larson; her husband Paul Chew; and her brothers-in-law, Melvin Dick and Russell Curnutt.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Arlen Carroll of Wisconsin and Robert Allen Carroll of New Castle; her grandsons, Chad William, Christopher Wayne and Matthew Richard Carroll; her great grandchildren, Jordan Carroll of Woodstock, VA and Payten Carroll of Woodstock, VA; her grandsons, Maddie Carroll of Woodstock, VA and Kinley Carroll of Woodstock, VA; and her great great grandchild Cohen Carroll.
