With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Orcutt of New Castle, Indiana, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurbert Ballenger and Mertie Ballenger (Hancock); her daughters, Tammy Jean Guffey and Penny Gay Orcutt; her grandson Charlie Orcutt; and her siblings, Denton Ballenger, Lottie Chick, Rita Guffey and Marlene Jessup.
She is survived by: her children, Lewis Orcutt (Vanessa) and Ashley Jella (Andrew); her grandchildren, Kasie Guffey, Wayne Carpenter (Heather) and Autumn Orcutt; her great grandchildren, Mitchell Jella, Connor Mitchell, James Jella, Ciarah Whittington, Elizabeth and Michael Carpenter; her siblings, Doshia Twitty and Esco Ballenger; and her close friend Sherry Wiley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
