He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Riley and Martha Riley (Hilderbrand); his former wife Deneen L. Riley; and his siblings, Eddie Riley and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Downs (Dennis); his daughters, Sydney K. Downs of New Castle, Jaime L. Downs (Harley Carlin) of Anderson, Sarah J. Doyle (Chad) of Springport and Allison N. Carter (Matthew) of New Castle; his grandchildren, Jude E. Kampf, Zayn G. Clark and Phoenix Carter; and his siblings, Donna Blake (Mike) of New Castle, Barry Riley (Jennifer) of Olive Hill, KY, Debbie Harding (Gerald) of New Castle and Chris Riley (Kim) of Mooreland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Foursquare Church (3200 S 14th St, New Castle, IN 47362). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
