She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Stanley and Stella Fern Stanley (Hardin); her husband James Seward; her daughter Carrie Manthei; her siblings, Gwendolyn Whitesell, James Martin and Paul Martin; her niece Sharon Daffron; and her nephew David Whitesell.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Liz" Seward of New Castle, Wendy Coffey (Roger Sexton) of New Castle, Tabby Cotner of New Castle, Shane Seward of New Castle, Joe Devine (Jessica) of New Castle and James Seward of New Castle; and her grandson Devan Seward (Makayla). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Foursquare Gospel Church (3200 S 14th St, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
