It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Max Carlton of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Paul and Rosie Mae Carlton; his sister Joann Harding; his parents-in-law, Reed and Bonnie Claywell; his brother Gene; and his sister-in-law Marie Phipps.
He is survived by : his wife Joanne Carlton (Claywell); his children, Julie Stonerock (Greg), Tina Carlton (Sean Moreillon), Brad (Marcia) and Randy (Pam); his pets, Daisy and Lucy; his grandchildren, Brandy Alley, Josh Alley (Tina), Seth Stonerock (Courtney), Matthew Carlton (Lindsey), Christina Carlton and Kelly Buskirk (Corey); and his friend John Sullivan. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many in-laws, friends.
