Thienel of New Castle, Indiana, born in Shelton, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Thienel and Barbara Thienel (Smith); his former wife Linda Thienel (Smith); and his brother Robert Thienel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Thienel (Huddleston); his children, Timothy Thienel (Sherri) of Wood River, NE, William Thienel (Melissa) of Lincoln, NE, Ruth Wolfe (Scott) of Kennard and Daniel Harp of St. Paul, NE; and his brothers, Larry Thienel (Allison) of Rhode Island and Don Thienel (Karen) of Gretna, NE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
